3000 years ago You said You would send a Messiah,

A Redeemer, A Savior, A Friend to the end

The King of all kings, full of love, light and justice…

So we waited for the rest of our lives to begin

We waited

While watching and waiting, we went our own way

Forgetting your plans for us our hearts went astray

We missed all the blessings with our eyes off of you

Then the promise, the prophesy, the dreams they came true

As Jesus came as just a tiny babe

He lived among men; He showed us the way

And then He died, He was crucified

And then He rose again and went on home to heaven

                        CHORUS

And He’s Comin’ to get us, He’s takin us Home

Call Him your Savior and He’ll call you His own

Oh, He’s comin to get us, He’s takin us Home

All you must do is believe you’re His own (** 2nd time to bridge)

                                    Oh, He’s comin’

In the Word of God it tells you that this worlds not your home

and He has gone on to prepare for us a mansion of gold

Ain’t nothin we can do to get us there on our own

Just gotta believe in God’s only Son

                                    CHORUS

                                                BRIDGE

Oh, the sky’s gonna rumble and the Lord will appear

The trumpet will sound and we’ll be outta here

CHORUS  with Tag- Let Him Forgive you and He’ll call you His Own… Simply believe He’s comin to take you home!

Song for Canada                                             by Lianna Klassen

I have felt the wind upon my face on this Atlantic shore

And in the west I’ve stood and watched, the noble eagle soar

And I have seen the fields of gold, and green and yellow too

And known the majesty of mountains touching sky’s of blue

And my hearts overwhelmed for this nation that I love

This is my song for Canada

                        CHORUS

A song for unity, and a song for freedom

Oh, Lord our God, may your healing come

And may the walls that divide us, no longer stand

Oh, Lord, our God heal our land

Oh revive this generation, with your fire and your rain

So that the faith this land was founded on, will come to life again

Oh, may the prayers of intercession rise as incense to the place

that will touch your heart oh, God

Oh, Father, hear our song

                        CHORUS

NOW IS THE TIME                  by Jodi Faith

You’ve been sittin back, waiting, praying, speculating,

wonderin when the doors would spring open

Saying what a privilege, an honour it would be,

to share your love… with those hurting

Feelin kinda sorry & a little bit sad,

that no one’s been hearing your story…

CHORUS

Now is the time, the acceptable time.           Now is the day of salvation!

Now is the time, the acceptable time.           Now is the day of salvation

She’s been thinkin back, wonderin, pondrin why she can’t find

the answers to life on a bookshelf

Flickin,  clickin, looking for the truth on tv,

but she’s really not convinced she had a past life

Believin there’s gotta be something better out there,

a way to get rid of this sense of despair…

CHORUS

He’s been goin it alone for a long while now knowin,

no one really cares about his  burdens

Figurin he’s better off looking out for himself,

not worryin about connecting

But he sure wouldn’t mind meetin someone sometime…

who’d be willin to share… discuss and repair the entire situation!

You’ve been sittin back, waiting, praying, speculating,

wonderin when the doors would spring open

Saying what a privilege, an honour it would be,

to share your love… with those hurting

Second Chance          ©  by Jodi Faith

I’ll remember that lonely, winter day, the lovely dolly that was on display…

The little girl who looked away and thru her tears began to say…

“I used to feel just like that doll. Warm and secure and loved by all.

I never cried, we had it all… The folks and me, we stood so tall.

But what will be, will be, my mama told me so.

Yeah, what’ll be, will be… no second chance for me.”

She told the story of her life, how her mama’s suddenly a battered wife.

“Pa worked so hard but lost it all he’s amazed he ever dreamed at all…

Cuz what will be, will be; no second chance you see.”

Chorus

Into the darkness of their life, we must take the love of Christ

No matter what the circumstance, He offers us that second chance

To feel forgiveness, grace and love, A brand-new start with God above

Discovering hope & joy and peace… A second chance to feel complete

My heart was hurting as I felt her pain…

didn’t know what to do, except to pray.

Then my heart racin like it sometimes does…

I knew the answer; it’d come from above.

I asked if I could meet her ma… and maybe try to help her pa…

She said they had nothing left to lose.

They had no hope, no reason to refuse

So what would be, would be… she took my hand in hers.

Then she led me down the street, into an alley- way where I would meet…

Oh, dear Lord, help me never forget… the things I learned that day

Into the darkness of their life, we must take the love of Christ

No matter what the circumstance, He offers us that second chance

To feel forgiveness, grace and love, A brand-new start with God above

Discovering hope & joy and peace… A second chance for you and me…

Into the darkness of their life, we must take the love of Christ

No matter what the circumstance, He offers us that second chance

THE BRUSH                         Chuck Milhuff

Life started out like a canvas

And God started painting on me

But I took the paintbrush from Jesus

And painted what I wished to see

The colors I painted kept running

And the objects were all out of size

I had made a mess of my painting

My way now seemed so unwise

So I brought my painting to Jesus

All the colors, the pieces so wrong

In the markets of earth it was worthless

But His blood made my painting belong

He worked with no condemnation

Never mentioned the mess I had made

Then He dipped His brush in the rainbow

And He signed it, the price has been paid.

When I gave the brush back to Jesus,

When I gave the brush back to Him

He started all over life’s canvas to fill

When I gave to Jesus the brush of my will

            He worked with no condemnation

Never mentioned the mess I had made

Then He dipped His brush in the rainbow

And He signed it, the price has been paid.

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

I have heard how Christians long ago

Were brought before a tyrant’s throne

They were told that he

Would spare their lives

If they would renounce

The name of Christ

But one by one they chose to die

The Son of God, they would not deny

Like a great angelic choir sings

I can almost hear their voices ring

            CHORUS:

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

            With all my strength

            With all I am

I will seek to honor His commands

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

Now the years have come

And the years have gone

And the cause of Jesus still goes on

Now our time has come

To count the cost

To reject this world

To embrace the Cross

And one by one let us live our lives

For the One who died to give us life

Till the trumpet sounds on the final day

Let us proudly stand and boldly say

CHORUS

To the Lamb of God who bore my pain

Who took my place

Who wore my shame

I will seek to honor His commands

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

CHORUS (repeat)

Book of Love, Book of Life     © by Bob/Jodi Faith

In the book of love we read of all God’s plans

To fill our hearts with joy and peace

We read about His love for us

How He wants to make us feel complete

In the book of love written just for us

We read about God’s only Son

How He gave his life that we might live

And be written in the book of life

Jesus gave His life for each one in this world

In the book of love it tells us how we must be reconciled

In the book of love written just for us

We read about God’s only Son

How we must receive His sacrifice

And be written in the book of life

Jesus gave His life for each one in this world

and He’s gone on to prepare us a place.

Are you written in the Book of Life???

What is the Cost of a Soul?         By Bob/Jodi Faith

What is the cost, what is the cost,

What is the cost of a Soul?

God gave His Son, Jesus on a cross was hung,

Oh, oh that is the cost of a soul.

God sent His Son out of heaven above,

That whomever believed would be won.

God gave His Son, that man would be won,

Come on now, That is the cost of a soul

Jesus said I am the way, the truth, the life, just follow me today

Then He gave His life on the cross for you and me

Oh, oh, that is the cost of a soul

What is the cost , what is the cost,

What is the cost of a Soul?

God gave His Son, Jesus on a cross was hung,

Oh, oh what will you do for a soul.

What will you do? What will you give?

That whomever you know, they might live

What can you give, that they might live

Come on now, THAT is the cost of a soul

I FOUND YOUR GLORY ON THE RED COAT TRAIL

BY JODI FAITH

I loved those bright lights and city sidewalks,

café latte and those late night talks.

Worshipping together with the thousands gathered

in unity, harmony… just loving each other!

Then my man took a job in the middle of nowhere,

I thanked you Lord but wondered what would you do from there,

in me & to me & working right thru me

then I found your glory on the Red Coat Trail

I found your glory on the Red Coat Trail,

I found my destiny I found your will,

kinda surprising it took leaving it all

to find your glory and to find your call.

So now I’m traveling these country roads from point A to B…

Tim’s in my coffee cup tuned into CBC…

worshipping together with the two or more gathered

in unity, harmony, just lovin each other.

And I’m singing and praising you all over the place…

thanking you Lord and wondering what you’ll do next

in me and to me & working right thru me

since I found your glory on the Red Coat Trail

I found your glory on the Red Coat Trail,

I found my destiny I found your will,

not so surprising it took leaving it all

to find your glory and to find your call.

WALKIN' ON THE WATER                    JODI FAITH

Oh, I coulda been walkin on the water, livin the abundant life

Singing and dancing in the twilight, overcoming every fear and fright

Your power was so apparent, I shoulda got up to my feet

Said I’m with you Lord, thru thick & thin. Together, I’m complete!

Oh, I coulda been walkin on the water, but I completely missed the boat

The abundant life you had for me, I feared it was a joke

But now I want to be dancin, singin… walkin on the water with you

Wanna praise you as my Mighty King, ain’t nothing we can’t do.

So now I’m walkin with you, your power lifts me high

No limits to what I can do, when I just walk with you

No more second guessing, It’s gotta be you and me

Ain’t never goin back to the way it was… I’ve won the victory!

Oh, I coulda been walkin on the water, no more missin’ the boat

The abundant life you have for me, I know it ain’t no joke

and now I want to be dancin, singin… walkin on the water with you

Wanna praise you as my Mighty King, ain’t nothing we can’t do.

So now I’m walkin on the water, empowered by your might

The only wimps around these parts are the demons takin flight

In the precious name of Jesus, we’ll take on every foe

And I praise your name it began for me, the day I got outta that boat

Oh, I’m walkin on the water – No more missin the boat

The abundant life you have for me, I know it ain’t no joke

Oh, Father thank-you for sending, your precious Son for me

We’ll be dancing on the water together – Right into eternity!

I DO, I CAN, I WILL!            Author Jodi Faith

The preacher said, “Now bow your heads,

You might like to try it too!.”

Then he said in his booming voice,

“Here’s what Jesus did for you!”

“With your head bowed low

and your heart opened wide,

it all starts by letting Him inside!”

“He’ll sweep away the darkness

and smile away the blues.

Ain’t nothin you can do for you,

It’s Jesus paid the dues!”

“Just let Him in, accept His love

the forgiveness that He gives!

Then start out on a brand new path!

Freedom to finally live!”

“He gave his life for you and me

on that dark and lonely hill!”

Now Thank Him, Accept Him

and Believe Your Saved

Say, I DO, I CAN, I WILL!”

As the preacher lifted up His head

a gentle tear lit his eye.

I felt like he looked straight into my heart

as he said, “Now you’ll never die!”

“Just keep it up, and run the race…

You will do just fine

Then the celebrating will come in Glory

As we cross the finish line!”

THE POW'R OF YOUR LOVE            BY GEOFF BULLOCK

Lord I come to You

Let my heart be changed, renewed

Flowing from the grace That I found in You

And Lord I've come to know

The weaknesses I see in me

Will be stripped away By the pow'r of Your love

Hold me close Let Your love surround me

Bring me near Draw me to Your side

And as I wait I'll rise up like the eagle

And I will soar with You Your Spirit leads me on

In the pow'r of Your love

Lord unveil my eyes

Let me see You face to face

The knowledge of Your love As You live in me

Lord renew my mind As Your will unfolds in my life

In living ev'ry day By the pow'r of Your love
